Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Christian Rental Works ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our portable restroom rental services and website. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Services
Christian Rental Works provides portable toilet and restroom rental services throughout Jackson, TN and West Tennessee. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Standard porta potty rentals
- Deluxe portable restroom units
- ADA accessible units
- Luxury restroom trailers
- Handwashing stations
- Delivery, setup, maintenance, and pickup services
Rental Agreements
Reservations and Quotes
All quotes provided are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before service begins. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Minimum Rental Period
The minimum rental period is one day for event rentals and one week for construction site rentals. Different terms may apply for long-term rentals, as specified in your rental agreement.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Payment Terms
Payment Methods
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Commercial accounts may qualify for net 30 terms upon credit approval.
Payment Schedule
- Short-term rentals (1-7 days): Payment due before or at delivery
- Long-term rentals: Monthly billing with payment due within 15 days of invoice date
- Event rentals: 50% deposit required at booking, balance due at delivery
Late Payments
Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee. We reserve the right to suspend service for accounts with overdue balances.
Security Deposits
A security deposit may be required for certain rentals, particularly luxury restroom trailers. The deposit will be refunded within 14 days after the unit is returned in satisfactory condition.
Delivery and Placement
Access Requirements
The customer is responsible for ensuring:
- Clear, level access to the delivery site
- Adequate space for unit placement and service truck access
- Removal of any obstacles that may prevent delivery
- Necessary permits or permissions for placement
Delivery Charges
Standard delivery is included within our service area. Extended delivery areas may incur additional charges. Same-day or after-hours delivery may be subject to rush fees.
Placement Changes
Once a unit is placed, relocation requires advance notice and may incur additional fees. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during relocation requested by the customer.
Customer Responsibilities
Proper Use
Customers agree to use rented units only for their intended purpose. Prohibited uses include:
- Disposal of items other than human waste and toilet paper
- Introduction of chemicals, cleaning products, or foreign objects
- Moving or tipping units
- Smoking inside units (where applicable)
- Vandalism or intentional damage
Security
The customer is responsible for the security of rented units on their property. We recommend securing the site to prevent unauthorized access, vandalism, or theft.
Site Conditions
Customers must notify us of any hazardous conditions, underground utilities, or special access requirements at the delivery site.
Maintenance and Service
Regular Service
For long-term rentals, we provide regular cleaning and restocking services. Standard service is weekly; more frequent service is available at an additional cost.
Service Access
Customers must ensure our service personnel have access to units on scheduled service days. Missed service appointments due to access issues may result in additional charges.
Emergency Service
Emergency service is available 24/7 for critical issues. Additional fees may apply for after-hours emergency calls.
Damage and Loss
Customer Liability
Customers are liable for damage to rented units beyond normal wear and tear. This includes but is not limited to:
- Vandalism or graffiti
- Fire damage
- Theft or loss
- Structural damage
- Damage from misuse or abuse
Damage Charges
Repair or replacement costs for damaged units will be billed to the customer. Major damage may require payment of the full replacement value of the unit.
Rental Period Extension and Pickup
Extensions
To extend your rental period, contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup date. Extensions are subject to equipment availability and may require additional payment.
Early Pickup
Early pickup may be arranged by contacting us in advance. Rental charges apply for the full reserved period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late Returns
Units not picked up on the scheduled date will continue to accrue rental charges until pickup is completed or until you notify us for pickup.
Weather and Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, or government restrictions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Christian Rental Works shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Lost profits or business interruption
- Personal injury or property damage not directly caused by our negligence
- Damage to underground utilities, landscaping, or driveways during delivery or pickup
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Christian Rental Works, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
Insurance
We maintain general liability insurance. Customers are encouraged to verify their own insurance coverage for rented equipment and to notify their insurance provider of rental activities.
Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Madison County, Tennessee.
Arbitration
Disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration in Jackson, Tennessee, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, if both parties agree.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any written rental agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Christian Rental Works and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
